POSITION: Senior Finance Manager

Summary

• Assists in the development and implementation of facility goals and priorities relating to financial management, budget, accounting, purchasing, and/or payroll compliance with Sate and Federal law, and ASM Global policies and procedures.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, annual budget, and annual report.
• Analyze financial performance and cost analyses for all departments, recommends appropriate actions/changes to meet business goals.
• Prepare statements and reports of estimated future expenses and revenues.
• Execute all checks and deposits; reviews daily cash receipts and disbursements.
• Direct supervision and development of Accounting Department. Hire, assign work, monitor activities and performance tracking, conduct appropriate coaching, counseling and training, discipline and terminations. Ensure staff compliance with all applicable company policies and procedures.
• Review contracts for building lease, clients, events, subcontractors, food & beverage to ensure proper compliance.
• Develop and implement facility goals and priorities relating to financial management, budget, accounting, purchasing, and/or payroll in compliance with State and Federal laws.
• Coordinate preparation of Client and/or external audit materials and financial reporting; implements recommendations of Client as requested.
• Coordinate appropriate insurance coverage with Risk Management Department and Insurance Broker.
• Direct the installation and maintenance of any new accounting, timekeeping, payroll, inventory, property, and other related procedures and controls.
• Participate in union labor administration; maintain effective working relationship with union representatives.
• Review financial statements with management personnel.

Directly supervises employees in the Accounting Departments. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with ASM Global's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work' appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications

• B.S. from four-year college or university(advanced degree preferred)
• At least 7 years of related work experience in public accounting and/or financial management at a supervisory level.

• Extensive working knowledge of MS Office software, specifically Excel, as well as accounting software programs.
• Excellent math skills; high aptitude for figures.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and organization.
• Excellent supervisory skills.
• Ability to work with and maintain highly confidential information is required.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Must have professional attitude and appearance.
• Ability to work flexible and extended hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays in addition to regular business hours.
• May be required to work both indoors and outdoors(during events held outside facility) and may be exposed to adverse conditions and high levels of noise(e.g., from concerts).
